The idea of designing the incubator and producer collectives for distribution as a non-profit organization allowed Ferme Giroflée to win the first round of Startup 54 Chrono, an entrepreneurship competition in the Montérégie region. However, since the association of incubator members has not survived and the organic blueberry producers have not yet made a formal commitment to it, this idea has not yet materialized in the form of a social economy enterprise.

Benoit Coulombe, co-founder of Ferme Giroflée, was honoured for his perseverance and success. Le Centre des Moissons, a training centre where he graduated in horticultural production and later taught, highlighted his success and professional achievements.
